A Blog Opening Ceremony

जानन्ति केचिन्न तु कर्तुमीशा:
कर्तुं क्षमा ये न च ते विदन्ति ।
जानन्ति तत्वं प्रभवन्ति कर्तुं..
ते केऽपि लोके विरला भवन्ति...॥

अर्थात्

"Few are the men, who have the privilege to possess right knowledge.
Yet they happen, to remain incapable forever to act in a righteous manner.
While there are others who are capable of action, but deprived from the right knowledge and right vision.
Rarest of all are those who are right in both their knowledge and their conduct too."

“Diya Tale Andhera” – the meaning of these words are "Just below the lantern - lies the darkness". The lantern spreads light all around it. But just below that same lantern, lies total darkness. Where is this “Diya Tale Andhera” in us?

If you were to loose all your teeth you would surely realize of their loss every moment. But do we keep realize their presence every moment. In a similar manner, a fish behaves normally when it is in water. Only when you try to remove it; does it start trembling and get agitated for water and life. We always realize the importance of a thing when we are deprived of it.

In the normal sense, we do not understand the darkness that is dwelling within us – the “Diya Tale Andhera” within us. Only when you will actually begin to face yourself – understand to dare and confess to yourself the absence of rationality in the conduct; that is when you will actually find it in you – the “Diya Tale Andhera” within you!!

When the eyes are closed; even the floodlights cannot bring life to your vision. So dare to see yourself and dare to speak the worst of your conducts to yourself. Once you complete this step, the rationality of thought will bring out the soft being inside you. You are a human being – the most caring animal in this world.

That is why some imperfect people like me who is seeking perfection - starts a blog and wishes that all of his closest friends who have affected his life a lot - give their valuable suggestions, critics and discuss with him - to find the "Diya Tale Andhera" and eradicate it.

Welcome aboard my dear friends...!!

Luv,
Chirag Khara

Hello buddy cum Mail-pal-:)..

Although you had sent a mail to me but this looks just awesome on this blogspot!!!.I havent read ur mail yet as I wanted to see ur blog only and then comment about it.

You have described very well about the darkness that resides within us and yet we are not aware of it.Just like we try to enlighten the darkness around us by lighting a candle, in the same way we can enlighten our own self, our TRUE INNER SELF by the light of knowledge and our consciousness. And we dont need to go and search this light or you can say our SPIRITUAL BRIGHTNESS anywhere outside but it is within OURSELVES and we will be able to find it, only when we dare to explore ourself rather than peeping into the materialistic life outside. It has reminded me of a sanskrit shloka, however I dont remember the actual shokla,I only have the meaning in my mind currently-:(

That Sanskrit Shloka describes that the ~"Kasturi Mrig"~,a species of deer goes all around, runs like a mad in forests to find out the frangnance of which it is unaware of the source of that attractive frangnance. While the secret is that actually that Frangrance called as ~"Mrigjal"~ is not somewhere else but in its own stomach. Its a kind of a liquid in its stomach which gives out this frangnance and the deer itself is not able to recognize its own fragnance or realize this beautiful fact about itself...

I will try to find that shokla and post it here.

Good One.

Here is the thought that immediately pops out of my mind..

Consider rocket, it gets burnt from the bottom so that it can reach its destination.
Rocket shouldnt care about fire burning at the bottom of it. It have to focus on its destination. The People around you will always shout(boast) you were under(on) fire, but dont get worried(happy), just keep moving forward towards your destination. The people will realise that fire on you, has a purpose.

The Darkness below the lantern is dark with the purpose.
